OBJECTIVES
Contribute ideas and expertise to the regional effort
Support and promote the development of GIS in smaller entities
Support state efforts and organizations
Hold regular meetings and training
Strengthen GIS relationships across a broad spectrum of organizations (government at all levels, private, etc)
Create and implement regional data standards, including metadata, distribution of data, and fees.
Educate the public and officials on benefits of GIS
